Construction Services - Remodeling Projects

On this page we will show some of the projects recently completed by the Pool Guy construction team. 

Kitchen Floor

The vinyl kitchen floor above was old and in need of renewing. The floor under the dishwasher was also damaged from an old leaking dishwasher. We repaired the damaged floor and installed new laminate flooring shown below

Staircase

In the picture below you can see the staircase with carpeted treads & risers. The staircase has a very plain handrail and square wooden balusters.

The customer was ready for a change so we removed the carpet, wooden balusters, and took out the old newel posts. We then installed new newel posts, new treads & risers, and to complete the look a new handrail with iron balusters. All the new woodwork was stained to match the existing trim color.

Bathroom

The next project was a bathroom that the customer wanted to change. First the tub and back panels were removed. A new cast iron shower pan was installed. The walls around the shower were then sheeted with cement backer board to make a good surface for the new porcelain tile. We then installed a new Bamboo floor to finish the bathroom. The pictures below show the bathroom before and after.

To complete the job we installed a new Bamboo floor in the hallway outside the bathroom.                   

Shed Conversion

We converted this structure from a back yard shed into a home office. The first step was to install a new floor at the same level as the floor in the house. we raised the position of the window and installed a new double glazed unit at the same time.

The Building was completly insulated and the outside doors blocked off. The walls and ceiling were dry lined with sheet rock. a new doorway was cut into the house. Power outlets and lighting were also installed
